JJ Deli is not just a snack bar at the golf course, it's an indoor-outdoor casual restuarant with the best barbecue in town. Open to the general public--not just golfers, JJ Deli is open whenever the weather is good enough to golf. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner, and they specialize in catering. There are several tables inside, and outside there is a smoker, a grill and picnic tables where you can watch the golfers while you dine. The outdoor area is only open on the weekends, weather permitting. The menu consists mainly of a variety of hot sandwiches and standard side orders. Try the smoked BBQ pork sandwich! Most menu items are $5 or less. Ask the friendly owner, Jeff Johnson, (pictured above) about other items available for catered events, including ribs, BBQ chicken, Polynesian chicken and more, some of which are often available at the restaurant during and after a catering event. I was a restauranter owner person; all ready few years ago in the area of Virginia and Washington DC. And I said direct Jeff and Jacky Johnson; this couple are very much organize dedicated to take care business; and Jacky she is very much beyond how their business run. Jeff is a great host and profecional in this art; that is why JJ Deli and his famous BBQ have very good reputation. Congratulation Jeff and Jacky fro this good work.

EXCELLENT!!! Always great food, great service, great prices. My kids love going there. The brisket is the best. I recently went to a party they catered and loved the variety of items they had. Very highly recommended for dine in, carry out or catering!

The food and service at JJ's are great. As their posting indicates, they are not just catering to the golf crowd. The deli is just right for a casual meal. The dining area is spacious and inviting. If you like outside eating, the JJ deck (overlooking the golf course) is very pleasant. Jeff and Jackie are very conscientious owner/operators with a desire to give good customer service.

Jeff and Jackie Johnson are phenominal hosts! At JJ Deli you can always count on fast and friendly service, and of course, great food! Their motto--"At JJ Deli Everyday is Saturday"--explains the cheerful atmosphere...rain or shine! If you're into barbeque you can't beat their hand-pulled pork barbecue sandwiches, and you can even order BBQ in take-home containers. We go often, and don't even golf!

JJ Deli is a fantastic place to eat! A lot of people get confused when they find out that they are located inside of the Herndon Centenniel Golf Course....they feel that you have to be a "Member" in order to dine there....not so. The course is public which means anyone can go and eat there! A lot of local business people come out there and have lunch! Everyday, Jeff offers a great 'Special of the Day'. They also serve a mean breakfast! And all of that talk about Jeff's BBQ is right on the money! It is the BEST pulled bbq you will EVER taste! Great place to eat!

JJ's Deli makes some of the most tender, flavorful BBQ and Brisket
I've ever had! They are a friendly, family owned business and very pleasant and flexible to work with. They catered a party for us and we had lots of compliments on the food! Its always a special treat to get a meal from JJ's and the quality is always excellent.

Jeff and Jackie helped put on a great golf tournament at the Herndon course. Not only were they great organizers, but incredibly gracious hosts for the event. The food was done perfectly, on time and was delicious. I would recommend the whole package, the great food along with the Johnson's - it made for a very fun event that we will certainly do again.

The Kingston Chase Homeowners 24th annual Adult Pool Party was catered by JJ Deli on July 22nd. Jeff and Jackie put on a fabulous meal for 156 hungry homeowners. They made our event easy (in spite of an hour of rain) ! Their prices and quality of food was superior to any restaurant in the DC area. We highly recommend the Beef Brisket, BBQ Pork, Polynesian chicken, bowtie pasta salad, fresh bruchetta, and especially the Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip!! Everyone was pleased with the delicious food. We loved having Jeff and Jackie at our party. They even participated in our "Crazy Hat" contest! Kingston Chase has now officially adopted them.
